Group of Gypsies (VP 030)

This fascinating photograph shows a small group of gypsies gathered outside a caravan. It is interesting for being composed mostly of women and children, with only one man to the left of the picture. The caravan has had the rear wheels removed and is standing on large barrels. Photographer and date unknown, probably 1920s.
