High Force waterfall, Upper Teesdale (YB 0033)

This dramatic photograph of High Force in Upper Teesdale shows the waterfall in full spate. Since the construction of Cow Green reservoir in the 1960s, High Force is now rarely seen with water coming over the right hand falls. The comparitively slow shutter speed has emphasised the flow of the water, adding to the spectacular quality of this image.
